ZAP CAMPAIGN SITE
TAG.DIGITAL LIMITED / SERVICE INFORMATION

Terms of use

The agreement for your ZAP Campaign Site account and paid services.

Effective date & version · 2026-10-22

1. Who we are and your agreement

ZAP Campaign Site at zap.hk and app.zap.hk is operated by tag.digital Limited (we, us). By expressly accepting these terms you agree to them, the acceptable use policy and, for purchases, the payment and no-refund policy. The privacy statement explains how we handle personal data. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for any organisation or candidate you represent.

2. Annual plans

Basic costs HK$2,000 for 12 months at zap.hk/u/name; it does not support a custom-domain CNAME. Domain costs HK$3,000 for 12 months at name.zap.hk and includes one connected custom hostname. Domain registration, transfers and registration renewals are separate. Names are subject to availability and must not infringe others’ rights.

Each subscription year includes initial publication if not previously used, plus two subsequent update publications. Draft editing and private previews are unlimited. One publication includes all approved changes across pages, languages and styling. Additional publication batches cost HK$500 each. Retrying the same failed publication does not use another credit. Paid plans include 100 AI actions per calendar month; unused monthly AI actions and included annual updates do not roll over.

3. Payment, renewal and cancellation

All prices and checkout totals are in Hong Kong dollars. Annual plans and delivery add-ons are prepaid. Renewal is manual; we do not automatically renew or charge your card for another year. Renewal opens 30 days before expiry. A Basic-to-Domain upgrade is prorated for the remainder of the existing term; it does not start a new year. The final amount is shown before you pay.

Purchases are non-refundable, including unused time or credits, change of mind, campaign cancellation or an unsuccessful election. This does not exclude mandatory legal remedies or correction of duplicate or erroneous charges. Stopping use does not cancel a completed payment. Read the payment and no-refund policy before purchasing. Stripe processes payment details on its hosted checkout; ZAP does not receive your full card number or security code.

4. Optional delivery and exports

Huawei Hong Kong delivery for mainland visitors costs an additional HK$3,000 per 12 months and requires an active Domain plan and a verified custom domain. It mirrors approved public files in Hong Kong, not in mainland China. It does not guarantee access from mainland China. A configurable transfer allowance is displayed in the dashboard; there is no automatic overage charging. Delivery may return to Cloudflare if the allowance or add-on expires. The underlying website plan must remain active. Sites without this add-on use Cloudflare; we do not geographically block mainland visitors.

A deployable static ZIP costs HK$800 for one published snapshot, including all three languages and bundled assets. It does not include the dashboard, AI services or domain configuration. Repeat downloads of a purchased snapshot do not require another payment, including after hosting expires while your account and the export remain held. Generation failures can retry against the same purchase. Keep your own downloaded copies. Publication records for election submissions are available separately without a ZIP purchase.

5. Your content and approval

You retain rights in your uploaded content. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce, render, translate at your request and deliver it as necessary to provide the service, including via our service providers. Publication makes the approved content publicly accessible and downloadable; copies may remain in search engines or third-party archives after removal. You must have all necessary image, copyright, personal-data, endorsement and publication permissions.

AI drafts and translations may contain errors or omit context. You must review facts, names, claims, tone and all three language versions before approving publication. Sample portraits and campaign materials are illustrative, may be AI-generated and must not be presented as real candidates, supporters or endorsements. Replace sample identities and images before publishing.

6. Campaign obligations

We provide website software and hosting, without endorsing candidates, parties or views. You and your appointed advisers remain responsible for applicable election law, election advertisements, consent, expense limits, returns, record retention and REO/EAC submissions. Our publication history and receipts assist record-keeping but do not establish compliance or make submissions for you. Formal Candidate’s Platform hosting is outside this service. Checkout pays only for our services; we do not collect political donations or hold money for candidates.

7. Accounts and acceptable use

Protect your email account and sign-in codes. Give team access only to authorised people and remove it when no longer needed. Do not publish unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, doxxing or malicious content; impersonate others; compromise security; or use the service for spam. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Report suspected account misuse and content complaints to info@tag.one.

8. Availability, expiry and suspension

We use reasonable care and skill to provide the service. No uninterrupted availability or election, traffic, search-ranking or access outcome is promised. Networks, domain verification, AI, payment, email and hosting providers can cause delays. A failed publication preserves the previous live version where available. Hosting and domain delivery depend on a paid active term; a short operational grace period is not an extension of your contract. Save copies of material you must retain.

We may restrict affected content or access for non-payment, material breach, security threats or legal requirements. Where practicable we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it; urgent action may occur first. You may stop using the service or ask us to close your account. Closure and deletion requests may be subject to lawful record retention and third-party copies, and do not ordinarily entitle you to a refund.

9. Responsibility and mandatory rights

To the extent lawful and reasonable, we are not responsible for indirect loss or lost anticipated profits, votes or reputation arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or remedy which Hong Kong law does not permit us to exclude or restrict. Any exclusion is subject to applicable statutory reasonableness requirements.

10. Changes, law and contact

Hong Kong law governs this agreement and Hong Kong courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights. These terms do not grant enforcement rights to third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623). If a provision is unenforceable the remaining provisions continue. We will notify material changes in the dashboard or by email and seek renewed agreement where appropriate. Changes do not retrospectively change a completed purchase. English prevails if translations differ, subject to applicable law. Contact tag.digital Limited at info@tag.one or 19/F 33 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong.
